Cheese “Ladotyri”( protected name and place of origin mark P. D. O.Made from sheep’s milk or a mixture of sheep and goat.In the case of a mixture,Ladotyri, the number of goat’s milk should not exceed 30%.The main feature of “ladotyri” is that cheese is traditionally aged in olive oil,hence the origin of the name.

Ladotyri has a sharp,salty taste and pleasant.pronounced aroma.Used as a table cheese.The maximum moisture content by weight is 38%,fat-40%(in dry condition)
